January Roundup

April 26, 2024 by Tom Clarke

As we come to the end of the first month of 2021, I look back and wonder where it went, as this year has certainly got off to a flying start here at Reliance High-Tech. We have had a number of new team members join us, several promotions and a 100% score in our Achillies UVDB audit. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you, goodbye and good luck to Mark Seager, our credit controller who is off to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

Strengthening the Team

Firstly, I would like to introduce and welcome a number of new team members. In the Design Team, we have had Ian Shipley join us as ‘Head of Design’ along with Caine Powell as ‘Design Engineer’. They have a wealth of experience in the Electronic Security market and will work closely with our in-house IT Specialists in designing and delivering integrated solutions for our customers.

In addition to this, we have a number of internal promotions as we grow and evolve the business. Congratulations to Tim Bunce who has been promoted to Regional Service Manager for the South East. Congratulations also to Phil Bradley who has been recently promoted to the position of Finance Manager.

100% Score ‘Again’ in Achillies UVDB Audit

For the third year in a row, we have passed the Achillies UVDB Audit with a 100% score, which is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the quality of the service and delivery we provide in the Utilities sector. This Audit and Site Inspection provides a higher level of pre-qualification assurance for buyers within the Utilities Sector, enabling Achilles UVDB buyers’ access to suitably pre-qualified supply chain partners. To score 100% is a fantastic achievement and is a huge credit to the great work done by our QHSE and Utilities Sector teams.
