Your Responsibilities

Operating in a vibrant and ever-evolving market space, our goal is to become the most well-known, most talked about and most ‘interesting’ businesses where we operate through the use of skilled marketing, great branding, positive reinforcement, innovation and creativity – delivered through traditional and digital marketing.

As the Marketing Executive, working with the Sales and Marketing Director, you will have responsibility for delivering the annual marketing plan. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive B2B marketing strategies – enhancing our brand presence, market engagement, and lead generation. You’ll be able to track effectiveness of our campaigns through ROI, ensuring we are able to adapt to a fast-paced market.

This may suit an ambitious, energetic individual, with great potential, early in their career, to build their skills and develop to management later. This is very much a sole contributor ‘doing’ role, under the guidance, approval and mentoring of the Sales and Marketing Director, supported by our outsourced marketing agencies, requiring a hands-on approach to all aspects of marketing, from planning and execution to performance analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and retained agencies to ensure alignment with business goals and contribute to the growth of our organisation.

Key aspects of the role include:

Budgeting and Planning

  • Work with key internal stakeholders to develop the annual overall marketing plan and budget for both RHT and RP to ensure marketing initiative align with company objectives, attaining necessary approvals and financial sign-off.
  • Develop and execute the quarterly rolling marketing activity plan encompassing both traditional (including events etc.) and digital (including newsletters, website, webinars etc.). Promote the plan internally across the business.
  • Plan the rolling marketing PR calendar with topics of articles (thought leadership, capability, case-studies, news items etc.), liaising with the PR agency to finalise and distribute.

Marketing Activity

  • Manage weekly news updates, company information and blogs on company websites, company LinkedIn, CEO LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Design and execute bi-monthly company newsletter to all customers and prospects focused on thought leadership and company updates.
  • Managing content of company websites and social media platforms in conjunction with partner agencies
  • Plan, design and execute digital targeted business development campaigns, such as e-mail/newsletters, in conjunction with the sales teams.
  • Manage PPC, SEO, and on-line advertising.
  • Driving, monitoring and allocating sales leads generated through marketing activity to the relevant business development managers.
  • Working with the CEO, Sales & Marketing Director, CTO, and Business Unit Director, coordinate quarterly ‘Innovation Days’ from booking venues to post-event follow up.
  • Engage with key ‘supplier partners’ to secure sponsorship and attendance at ‘Innovation Days’ and other events.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure a clean and up to date CRM database of contacts to use for marketing communications.

Reporting

  • Reporting pipeline and progress towards agreed KPIs to management.
  • Utilise analytics tools to measure and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
  • ROI reporting across all activity

Your Profile

  • UK citizen or valid work permit.
  • Demonstrable record of planning and executing ‘hands-on’ marketing activity.
  • A good understanding of the security, IT, or a technology solutions B2B market
  • The ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • The ability to plan and organise
  • PC literacy – PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
