Reliance High-Tech, the leading independent security technology integrator, is celebrating after winning the hotly contested Security Installer of the Year Award at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2020. Supported by IFSEC and FIREX, this year’s virtual event was hosted by Stephen Mulhern – presenter of ITV’s Catchphrase and Britain’s Got More Talent – with individuals from across the industry going online to recognise the achievements of their peers.
Now in their twenty-first year, the Security & Fire Excellence Awards celebrate the people, projects and processes that represent the best the industry has to offer. Award entries were judged by a panel of independent experts from all areas of the fire and security sector including end users, academics and the police. This year the organisers made a number of category tweaks to make the event even more company, people, team and project focused. These were all areas that the judges carefully considered when deciding who would receive the coveted Security Installer of the Year Award.
Reliance High-Tech’s entry highlighted its work with a number of blue-chip multinational organisations and how it deployed security and access control technology in new and innovative ways. Many of the projects it referenced were carried out at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, utilising device pre-configuration, as well as remote commissioning and testing, in order to allow work to be completed on time and to the highest standards.
With a strong interest in maximising the potential of state-of-the-art technologies and helping its customers navigate the converging security landscape, Reliance High-Tech operates at the cutting edge of service provision. Through a combination of its professional IT and security system integration services, the company is able to provide a full turnkey solution – often combining civil engineering and cabling works with IP CCTV camera, software, hardware and cloud based video management system (VMS) installation.
Reliance High-Tech believes in complete client engagement and often acts in a consultancy role to guarantee total customer satisfaction. This level of service provision was recognised by the judging panel, which also praised the company’s ‘can-do’ attitude and its ability to carry out work in extremely challenging conditions, as well as the exceptional quality and pace of its delivery.
‘On behalf of everyone at the company I’m extremely proud to receive the Security Installer of the Year Award,’ commented Reliance High-Tech’s CEO director, Alistair Enser. ‘With so many top class organisations operating in our sector we knew the competition this year would be incredibly tough, which makes our success all the more satisfying. Being recognised in this way reflects the fact that our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We will continue to understand tomorrow’s threats today, provide truly cost effective solutions, innovate to keep people and assets safe, and promote the benefits of truly integrated security systems.’
