Reliance High Tech have provided maintenance for the Serious and Organised Crime Unit for a Police Force on the south coast of England for over 10 years. This comprises of all traditional Security Systems, including CCTV, Access, Intruder and Intercoms.

The maintenance contract was placed in January 2011 following the successful installation of an operational security system which ensured the facility was secure and allowed it to fulfil its purpose as a command unit and custody suite. The value of this important project was circa £800k, commenced in December 2009 and the key elements included CCTV, Affray and Panic Alarms, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Cell Call and Intercom, Service Yard Fence Detection system and a Graphical User Interface (GUI).

We now provide a fully comprehensive service, which covers all parts and labour and two annual planned preventative maintenance visits. We work according to strict SLAs with 5 levels of prioritisation, each having specified target resolution times. In line with our service contract we are continuously engaged to undertake upgrades and additions to the system.

In addition to the general upgrades, we have recently installed a new Custody Suite CCTV system, a 6-month programme to upgrade obsolete hardware and software that is nearing end-of-life.
